Women's event

On Saturday, September 13, Supervisor Jose Medina and our community partners hosted the Free Women’s Health & Safety Resource Fair at the Mead Valley Community Center.

The event brought together local and county agencies, nonprofits, and health organizations to provide residents with direct access to resources that support women and families.

Event Highlights

  • Dozens of community members attended and connected with agencies offering health and wellness screenings, workforce services, and youth programs.

  • Families were able to meet with county departments and local organizations to learn about opportunities available right here in Riverside County.

  • Our partners offered information, referrals, and hands-on support to help residents navigate resources for themselves and their loved ones.

Community Impact

This fair created a welcoming and supportive space where women and families could explore services in one convenient location. By bringing providers together under one roof, the event helped ensure that critical health, safety, and wellness information was accessible to everyone.
