Samuel Roberts, Legislative Assistant
Samuel Roberts currently serves as a Legislative Assistant for County Supervisor José Medina. Born in Santa Cruz, California, Samuel

relocated to Riverside in 2016 to pursue a Bachelor’s in Public Policy from the University of California, Riverside. After graduating in 2020, Samuel worked for California State Parks and received a Dean’s Merit Scholarship to attend the USC Price School, where he earned a Master’s in Public Policy.
While at USC, Samuel co-founded San Bernardino for Rapid Recovery, an organization focused on providing mutual aid and vital information on COVID-19 and county resources to the community. After completing his Master's program, he moved to San Diego to work as a Public Communications Officer with the San Diego Association of Governments. In this role, he worked to keep the public informed about railroad construction projects in the region.
Samuel is thrilled to be back in Riverside and is eager to contribute to the community. In his current role as Legislative Assistant for District 1, Samuel oversees the Mead Valley and Good Hope MAC meetings, and collaborates with several county agencies, including Animal Services, the Assessor and Tax Collector, the District Attorney, the Public Defender, and Fire. He also works closely with the City of Perris to address local community issues and needs.
