Cesar Gomez
Cesar Gomez serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff to Riverside County Supervisor Jose Medina, supporting the Supervisor’s initiatives, policy development, and community objectives. His portfolio includes constituent and policy matters related to the Agricultural Commissioner's Office, Environmental Health, Facilities Management, Veterans' Services, Regional Park and Open-Space District (RivCoParks), and Riverside University Health Systems (RUHS).

Before joining Riverside County, he served in various governmental and external affairs roles, including federal higher education advocacy efforts and holding senior positions focused on state legislative and budget priorities. In those senior roles, he helped guide efforts that secured millions in state funding for regional projects. He began his career as an intern for then-Congressman Xavier Becerra.
A first-generation college graduate and son of immigrants, Cesar is a firm believer in supporting the next generation. His personal experience drives his commitment to public service, education, and policies that uplift underserved communities
