Lorena Husband serves as a Legislative Assistant and Staff Analyst to Riverside County Supervisor José Medina, supporting legislative analysis, constituent services, and intergovernmental coordination. She serves as the primary liaison for the City of Riverside and the unincorporated University City area, helping advance District 1 priorities through coordinated policy and community-focused solutions.

Lorena also oversees District 1 budget coordination, including the review and management of Community Improvement Designation (CID) applications. In this role, she works closely with community organizations and county departments to track funding allocations, ensure compliance, and support the successful implementation of community improvement projects.

A bilingual (English/Spanish) professional with more than 25 years of experience, Lorena brings a diverse background spanning government, banking, marketing, emergency management, and program development. Her experience includes managing budgets and fiscal operations, developing policies and procedures, and leading large-scale community engagement, training, and emergency preparedness initiatives.

Lorena brings a practical, solutions-oriented approach to public service, with a focus on accountability, collaboration, and delivering responsive service to District 1 residents.
